| My fiance and I just bought our first house, and I'm not sure we could've made it happen without Ed. We interviewed several buyer brokers and were initially impressed by his deep knowledge of Somerville, professionalism, and patience (we had a lot of questions). At every step of the process Ed was available with information, answers, and suggestions. People he referred us to (mortgage broker, lawyer, home inspector) were consistently better choices than others we interviewed, and his thorough explanations of each stage of the buying process kept us confident and (relatively) relaxed throughout.
Our house purchase certainly wasn't a big money deal for Ed, but that didn't seem to make any difference -- he always made time for us and was proactive about keeping in touch and making sure things were on track. I've already recommended him to two different friends thinking about buying, and fully intend to work with him again when we eventually sell this place. Really, we can't speak highly enough of Ed. If you're looking to buy, do yourself a favor and give him a call.

| Ed was a recommendation to my wife, Maria, and I in 2005 to help us find a condo. Ed was diligent in his efforts to find us a home that suited our needs in location, style, budget, and many other attributes. He was patient with our odd behavior and tactics to find a home. We sought out Ed again in 2009 to help us sell the same condo as well as help us find a new single family house. He was knowledgeable on the market, knowledgeable in the processs of trying to close on two places simultaneously, and as always friendly and professional making the experience seemless. I highly recommend Ed for anyone looking to buy or sell a home and am happy to call Ed and his family our friends after our successful working relationship.Rob & Maria 7/14/2009 | |
| My husband and I hired Ed in 2008 to purchase a house. We considered other agents however we felt a strong connection with Ed and were impressed with his detailed knowledge of our target market area. We could not have been happier with that decision. Ed was very knowledgeable and quickly picked up on our preferences and recommended options we had not considered. In addition to helping us find the right house, Ed effectively steered us through the complexities of the closing process. We would not only recommend Ed but will use him again in the future.Kim & Matt 1/30/2009 | |
| Selling your house and buying a new one is a lot like getting pregnant - the moment you tell people that this is what you are doing, their first reaction is to tell you a horror story. When we told people we were planning to move, everyone starting telling us "sleazy real estate agent" stories. Well, there is nothing sleazy about Ed Greable at Bremis Realty - in fact, quite the opposite is true - he is a true gem in this field.
Ed is just fantastic! He helped us sell our urban condo and buy our new house in the semi-burbs. As far as helping us sell, we could tell right off the bat that Ed was the best person you could have representing you at an open house. He is knowledgeable and charming, but he doesn't give the hard sell in that way that turns people off. In this wretched real estate market, our place sold in 2 weeks and we attribute a lot of that to Ed's efforts - checking in on us all the time, setting very high standards for what our house needed to look like both for the internet photos and the open houses, and making himself perpetually available to deal with interested buyers.
Interestingly, the fact that our house sold so quickly caused us to really need to scurry to find a new place. This is where Ed became invaluable - his real passion is being a buyer's agent. Like most agents do, he sent us tons of listings and took us to tons of open houses. But what sets him apart is how much he genuinely cared that we find the right home, not just any home. Despite the rush we were clearly in, he never once pushed us to make a decision and he was so patient with us as we changed our focus a million times. He got to know our family's needs and would look at houses through our eyes. My husband needed to go away for a weekend right during that critical time and Ed spent the whole weekend taking me around, taking photos so I could email them to my husband, etc.
When we found our place, Ed held our hands through all of the inspections and the closing. The sellers' broker several times mentioned to my husband and me what a pleasure it was to deal with Ed. This is the real estate world, after all - this type of thing doesn't usually happen!!
I could go on forever about how much we trust Ed, how honest he is, how pleasant he is to deal with - but you should really see for yourself. I would never consider using another real estate agent in the greater Boston area.

| Ed was a wonderful Realtor and a pleasure to work with. I truly felt he had my best interests at heart and never felt pressured into a decision. Yet, when I wanted his honest professional opinion, he would willingly give it to me. Ed was always punctual, honest, provided me with all the details and several options until we found the perfect place for me. I can honestly say I got a great deal in a great neighborhood thanks to EdLorena 6/30/2006 | |
| In my 4 years of working with Ed Greable, he has become the Realtor I trust most in the Boston area. Ed deals with buyers and sellers, he reads actively, and always has a consistent feel of just where the Boston Real Estate market is. When buyer/seller issues come up, Ed handles them like a business person and usually finds a middle ground to for the parties to come together. I hope to work with Ed for years to come.

| Ed was qutie patient working with us during our 8 month search for a new home. In fact, at one point (about 2 months into the process after having visited one property multiple times) we met up to make an offer on a place and he actually talked us out of, saying it wasn't the right place for us and that the right place would come along. And he was right. We love the place we finally purchasedKarl & Randy 10/2/2009 | |
